Some days I am a crazy shopper and other days I have to step back and smell the roses so to speak. After having snow for several weeks in a row, we are expecting beautiful weather for the next few days. My 2 year old, Lorelai has been a little under the weather and out of sorts and I just really felt the need for us to have some fun today. After my weekly Bible Study ( she got to play in the nursery), we ran by Target to pick up a few things and checked out the baby dolls and Disney princess toys. She has her little routine and we have to make the Princess display sing all the songs and push the button on Mirror, Mirror on the wall. After that little errand was run and a Tinkerbell pail purchased for 50 cents, we spent about an hour at the park. Lorelai loves to swing and even got to ride on the Big Girl swing for a bit until the "baby swing" was freed up. We took a little walk and she found a stick and poked around for a bit. It was absolutely gorgeous outside; perfect jeans and tee shirt weather. We enjoyed some Nesquik ( buy one, get one free with a coupon at Target!) on the car bumper and then headed home where she took a very nice little nap. I am still working on finding the balance between working from home, running my household, raising my daughter, couponing, etc. but I just love those days where I have a feeling of accomplishment but we have had some great playtime, too!
