The 9 Timeless Secrets of Being Happy~~by Brian Vaszi

1) Embrace New Experiences: Most people suffer from merely existing versus really living. Don’t get caught in a rut; get out of it if you are. Explore. Play. Go beyond your comfort zone. Don’t lean on the excuse “I don’t have time to try new things.” It is as tragic and ridiculous as saying “I don’t have time to breathe.” New experiences are life. Live deeply.

Quick Tips and Tidbits

Here are some quick tips and tidbits to make your life easier!

*Tired of waiting for the bathroom mirrors to clear before you can apply make up or shave after a shower? Just take a small amount of shaving cream (use the cheap stuff) and apply to any bathroom mirror. Buff off with a clean cloth. The next time you step out of a steamy shower, you can see yourself right away...no more foggy mirrors.

*Black scuff marks getting the best of you on that beautiful white floor? Take a tennis ball, cut a small slit in it, and insert a cut off broom handle or paint roller stick. When the scuffs appear, you can rub them away with the tennis ball...and you won't even have to get down on your hands and knees.

*One of the most time-consuming household chores is defrosting the chest freezer. The next time you defrost, before plugging the unit back in, spray a small amount of cooking oil spray on the freezer walls. The ice will form more slowly and when you do need to defrost it will just slide right off.

Are You Afraid of Heights?

"If you're climbing the ladder of life, you go rung by rung, one step at a time. Don't look too far up, set your goals high but take one step at a time. Sometimes you don't think you're progressing until you step back and see how high you've really gone."

~ Donny Osmond

Life is full of surprises for all of us. What we thought our day was going to turn out to be is very different from the reality of what the day becomes. The same can be said for our life in general. I was raised to be a diligent, hard worker that seeks excellence in everything. Many times that bordered on perfectionistic behavior because when I was too directed in my personal behavior, situations or environments would arise that I was totally unprepared for and had no clue how to respond. Frustrated, I had planned a direction for my life and then expected to execute it perfectly, only to see someone “change the rules” and not go according to my plan.

A Brief History of the Vacuum Cleaner

A Brief History of the Vacuum Cleaner

Imagine, if you will, in regular customers' homes. Your crews clean the home every two weeks. You and they especially are dreading the job just like all the others because when they arrive and get to work they will have to move all the furniture, take the carpets outside (hopefully it is not wall to wall carpeting), hang them out and beat, beat, and beat until they just can't beat anymore! Well thanks to many inventors and innovators with cleaning in mind, carpet and rug cleaning was changed forever!
